In his first two articles on The Art of Stealing, Inocêncio only deals with the problem of the authorship of the work, today irrefutably taken from the pen of the great preacher and written by one of his many adversaries who appeared before and after his death. However, Brito Aranha, in the supplement, gives us more information about the different editions of this work, which has a composition error that is important to mention. The volume moves from page 192 to 197. Page 192 ends with the heading "to", missing two lines of what should be the following page 193.
