First and only edition of Ferreira de Castro's first book published in Portugal and which is not part of his complete works. It has the last two pages perforated by the author who justifies the order with the following words: "The last pages of this book reach primitiveness: – in their true vileness. To people of modesty they will be blunt. I had it drilled. As for me… Modesty is the tunic of Truth: – I already tore that tunic a long time ago." (p. 98). EXTREMELY RARE.
