FIRST Edition, very rare of what is the coeval account of Vasco da Gama's trip to India. The work is traditionally attributed to Álvaro Velho. In addition to the manuscript text, it has a valuable introduction and is illustrated with a map, a fasimile of a manuscript sheet and a portrait of Vasco da Gama. Segundo Inocêncio is a rare work, edited and sold by subscription. From the list of subscribers we know that there is a better quality paper edition.
