Fourth edition of this work by Manuel de Faria e Sousa (1590-1649), which was later reformulated, expanded and published posthumously under the title of Europa Portuguesa, Lisboa, 1678. This edition is appreciated for the portraits of the Kings of Portugal opened with burin.
