Series of five portraits of the first five Dukes of Bragança, D. Afonso, D. Fernando II, D. Fernando III, D. Jaime and D. Teodósio. The series was printed with the aim of illustrating a work by José Barbosa, brother of Diogo Barbosa Machado, with the biographies of the first five Dukes of Bragança. It seems that the work, which was already in press, was lost with the earthquake of 1755, never being published.
