Correcta, e emendada de muitos erros; e assim tambem a verá o curioso leytor com as palavras, e regras, que por inadvertencia faltarão na passada impressão.. Inocêncio, in his first two articles referring to the Art of Furtar, deals only with the problem of the authorship of the work, now irrefutably taken from the pen of the great preacher and written by one of his many opponents. However, Brito Aranha, in the supplement, gives us more information about the various editions of this work, revealing that it is, so to speak, the first of the second editions. The differences are in the frontispiece which, in the first variant, has the "E" of «Mirror" in type slightly smaller than the rest of the word, as well as the location of the date, below the "De" of the expression «Na Officina de Martinho Schagen.” The second variant has the date fixed by Brito Aranha in 1745, one year after the present one.
