Esta segunda edição saiu no mesmo ano da primeira, mas é muito mais estimada pois além dos acrescentos no texto, possui cinco mapas que não foram inseridos na primeira. Os mapas são: I: A New Military Map of Portugal drawn by Capt.n Eliot; II: Survey of the Environs of Lisbon with Ld. Wellington Lines; III: Sketch of the Attack upon the French Position at Zambieira on the Heights at Rolica; IV: Sketch of the Action between the British & French Forces at Vimiera in Portugal; V: General Plan of the Routes of the Armies before & after the Battle of Talavera; VI: Olan of the Battle of Bussaco.
